On Tuesday, October 8th we welcomed Lindsay Weatherall to our office. Ms. Weatherall spoke about the importance of employee engagement, ‘moments of truth’ and best practices in customer service. We learned about how a company like ours can measure engagement and how we can improve it for our employees, which we are to implement in the coming months. Moments of truth allowed us to understand how our interactions can affect our customers and employees. As our customers are our first priority, it was valuable to understand the importance of positive communication. We loved to hear what Lindsay had to say!
Lindsay Weatherall has nearly 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry and is graduating from the University of Guelph Hospitality and Tourism program. She’s worked in the restaurant industry at The Bread Bar, The Waterfront, Piping Rock Country Club, and more.
